I started working for Be UK at the of July, 2020. It felt a bit risky moving jobs in the thick of the pandemic, but I’m so glad I did.
As consultants, we’re regularly on client side – so every day feels different.
I normally start my working day with a 9am catch up call. On my current project, a lot of the team are in Asia, so I typically have several meetings in the mornings, which means I then have the afternoon to knuckle down and get the work done.
The first thing that comes to mind is “open” – there’s a very friendly and open culture and I feel this is reflected at all levels – including the partner level. I’d also describe Be UK as a caring and supportive place to work.
I wanted to move to a smaller company because I wanted the small company, entrepreneurial and family feel; this was one of the key things that attracted me to Be UK, because I feel you have all the benefits of a small company, but with the support and backing from a much larger pan-European company.
I really want to go sky diving. Myself and a friend of mine have set ourselves a goal to do a sky dive in 2022; now it’s out there for the world to see – I feel I actually have to commit to it!
